Current Favorites: Nov 13, 2010

Hi everyone,
I decided to post a favorites post because there's actually enough stuff to mention (kind of), so here goes

1. Wet `n Wild MegaLast lipcolor in Think Pink 901B - it's a really nice pale pink with no or minimal lilac/purple tones, looks great by itself but more wearable with a gloss

2. EOS lip balm in Summerfruit - I don't even like this as a lip balm or its scent, but it's a great lip primer for drier lipsticks (such as the Wet `n Wild one), which is what I would actually recommend this for. Moisturized lips? Not so much

3. Shiseido eyelash curler - this fits the shape of my eye the best, I've been using it a lot whenever I feel like wearing mascara :)

4. Merlot Night Cream - sample size, I got the full size as you can see here. I've been using it as an eye cream as well as a face cream, smells nice, not greasy, I like it very much :)

5. Palladio Rice powder in Natural - I don't like how it has fragrance, not that the scent's repulsive, but it's just really strong and I wouldn't want something like that in something I put on my face. I have to hold my breath while I dust it on so I don't smell it for the rest of the day. Great at controlling oil or setting your foundation/concealer.

6. NYX Jumbo eyeshadow pencil in Milk - great for the inner corner of your eyes, might look dry if your eye area isn't well moisturized, as with all cream products.

7. Eyeliner brush from the Maybelline Eye Studio gel liner - I've been using it for gel liner. I actually haven't tried the Maybelline liner yet, but the brush is great. When I 1st use it I was like "... that's it? It pokes my eye." But as I used it more it makes a really nice thin line.

8. Freeman's Pineapple Enzyme mask - it's only $3-4 at select drugstores and Walmart. I got this in an Ulta haul, and I think it's great for exfoliating. After it dries there's actually little beads (or dead skin, I can't really tell) that you can exfoliate with as you wash it off. Makes my cheeks look really smooth and polished.

That's pretty much it, I know I write a lot of "commentary" on the products, but I think they're informative, right?

Till next time :)

  2. Thanks! I don't think the EOS lip balms are that great as a balm, but as a lipstick primer they're great since they have a matte finish
