May Ipsy Bag

2 BioRepublic face masks
NYX Whipped Fouette
theBalm Balm Springs blush
Skone Cosmetics black eyeliner (I'm never gonna run out of black liquid liner now)
City Colors Bold Brows

Idk why a bunch of these pinks turn up all baby pink on me
10 years ago I would've loved this color, now... It's so light!

The color is a bit dark/warm for my taste, but the quality seems pretty good

REVIEW | Max Factor Masterpiece liquid eyeliner

Freshly applied | Rubbed vigorously
Seems pretty budge proof

After 5 hours... Do you see that fading? At least it doesn't smudge all over

Pros
Easy to apply
Doesn't smudge

Cons
Doesn't apply evenly on the edges
Cap doesn't seem super airtight

Price
$8 for 0.03 oz / 1 ml

Verdict
This is also suspiciously similar to CoverGirl's Intensify Me liquid liner, although I haven't personally tried that one. I notice w most felt tip liners you have to go over the edges if you want it to look smoother. This liner didn't smudge, but it also faded after a couple hours. I do have more moist eyelids, so maybe this will work if you have dry lids?

All in all, not impressed :/
Luckily I got these for free thru Influenster.

Repurchase?
Maybe

Would I recommend it?
If you're in the market for a new liquid liner, I think this is pretty user friendly

REVIEW | Wet n Wild ProLine felt tip eyeliner

Can you see the slight smudging on my upper lid already? Usually doesn't happen with liquid liners but I noticed felt tips seem to do that for me. (see the Milani Eye Tech Perfection here)
Excuse my messy bottom liner. I was trying to copy hollyannaeree's eye look with brown bottom liner but... I don't think it's a cute look on me

Pros
Easy to draw
Pigmented

Cons
Smudge prone
Not super precise

Price
$4 for 0.017 oz / 0.5 g

Verdict
While the felt tip is pointy, it's not REALLY fine - I notice with felt liners I always have a hard time getting a crisp line for a winged liner look, hence why I prefer the brush tips - my current go to is the Avance (review here). I like how dark this is, but it's no good if it smudges within a couple hours. I've heard good things about the Dolly Wink and the Stila Stay All Day so maybe I'll try those next.

If you don't mind learning to use a brush applicator that's not calligraphy style, the L'Oreal Lineur Intension is my holy grail liquid liner from the drugstore (linked here). My best friend tried the felt tip version and loves it too!

Repurchase?
No.

Would I recommend it?
If your eyes aren't prone to smudging makeup normally, I think this would work great for you. I personally always have problems with eye makeup smudging so I stick with the most waterproof makeup I can find.

REVIEW | Milani Ultrafine Liquid Eyeliner in Black Vinyl

11 hours later

Pros
Long wearing

Cons
Not super pigmented
Doesn't seem to apply very evenly
Kind of drags on my lid

Price
$8 for 0.058 oz / 1.7 ml

Verdict
Rating: C
Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of hard tips that drag and poke my eyelid. This liner isn't really pigmented either, I must prefer the L'Oreal Lineur Intense brush tip (review here). The wear was good on my oily lids, and it removes in flakes like a lot of waterproof liquid liners.
I personally prefer brush tips or the pen liquid liners, if you like this kind of felt tip this might be good for you.

Repurchase?
No.

Would I recommend it?
No.

REVIEW | L'Oreal Lineur Intense felt tip liquid eyeliner

Pros
Easy to use
Dries quickly
Doesn't smudge

Cons
Flaky
Not smooth
Seems dry?

Price
$8-10 for 0.05 oz / 1.5 ml

Verdict
Having tried the brush tip version (review here), the felt tip version doesn't glide on nearly as smoothly, and also seems less pigmented because the felt tip doesn't hold as much liquid as the brush tip. However, the felt tip is a lot easier to draw with.
Unfortunately, I've had a similar experience with the Milani Eyetech with a felt tip (review here). I suppose felt tips just aren't for me, I'll stick with liquid liners with a stiffer brush.

Repurchase?
Yes.

Would I recommend it?
Not as much as the brush tip.

HOLY GRAIL EYELINER | L'Oreal Lineur Intense (brush tip)

Brush tip

Applied

After 11 hours
As you can tell it's flaked a bit. If I wear it for any longer it might start flaking in my eye and create discomfort. Since it claims to wear for 8 hours I won't dock any points for that.

Pros
Long lasting
Pigmented
Smudge proof (on my oily lids)

Cons
Not waterproof
Brush tip takes getting used to
Flakes after 10 hours if you have oily lids

Price
$8-10 for 0.23 oz / 7 ml

Verdict
Rating: A
I am pleasantly surprised by the lasting power of this eyeliner. Way back when the felt-tip Lineur Intense (review here) was all the rave I didn't try it for whatever reason. After trying the felt tip again, I much prefer this one.
If this eyeliner comes in contact with water it will flake off (for me, on my cheeks), so I would not recommend this for any occasions you could cry. The brush takes some getting used to as I mentioned, I will try the felt tip version once this runs out.

If you have problems with eyeliner smudging this is a good one, doesn't flake on me like the Skinfood Sweet Almond liquid liner (review here) or Essence liquid liner (review here). I like using the L'Oreal one on days I need my eyeliner to last but don't need it to be completely waterproof like my holy grail, the Milani Infinite liquid liner (review here), which takes a bit more effort to remove at the end of the day.

Repurchase?
Yes.

Would I recommend it?
Definitely.

REVIEW | Urban Decay 24/7 Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner

As you can tell it has purple glitter with a black/grey base. It doesn't look super dark but dark enough

Top: daylight
Bottom: With flash

Pros
Long lasting
Good control with brush
Subtle glitter (wearable for daytime)

Cons
Not super dark

Price
$19 for 0.05 oz / 1.7 ml

Verdict
Rating: B+
I got this on clearance for ~$7 at Nordstrom Rack. I'm usually not great at drawing winged liners but this brush was stiff enough to give me control. This looks more purple to me in person, maybe the human retina catches the color of the glitter more.

If you see this on sale I'd definitely give it a try, but I wouldn't spend $19 on it.

Repurchase?
No.

Would I recommend it?
Yes, but I think the Milani Infinite liner (review here) is better in terms of wear.

REVIEW | Milani Liquid Eye Pencil

Before
After ~12 hrs
I actually wiped with my fingers twice during the day bc it looked really smudged

Smudges from when I wore it on the waterline. Apparently I just can't stop anything from smudging near my eye.

Pros
Very dark
Creamy (glides on easily)
Paraben free

Cons
Smudges on oily lids

Price
$6-8 for 0.04 oz / 1.2 g

Verdict
I was really looking forward to trying this eyeliner, but unfortunately it was smudge city for me. I heard it's supposed to be a gel liner in a pencil but it doesn't seem to set for me. I personally found that pencil eyeliner doesn't last on oily eyelids, I usually use liquid (the Milani Infinite eyeliner is literally waterproof and smudgeproof, review here)

This glides on really well on the waterline/tightline, so I guess I'll use it for that purpose.

Repurchase?
No.

Would I recommend it?
Yes. It is one of the best drugstore pencils in terms of color and wear, but it does still smudge for oily-skinned gals like me

REVIEW | Milani Infinite Liquid Eyeliner

Different angles of the brush

After 12 hours

Pros
Very long lasting (even if you go swim, it doesn't smudge or run)
Very pigmented
Inexpensive

Cons
Brush takes some getting used to
Takes longer to remove

Price
$7-9 for 0.17 oz / 5 ml

Verdict
I've gone camping and swimming with this eyeliner, it's amazing! The "liquid" a very thick cream texture that dries like paint and doesn't come off without waterproof eye makeup remover.
If you always have problems with eyeliner smudging like me, this is your savior. I love to use this on days I want my eyeliner to last the ENTIRE day, it will literally last 24 hours (I fell asleep unintentionally once, it was still there).
If you don't like the brush it comes with you could always use another eyeliner brush, but I'm too lazy to wash my brushes.

To remove this I use jojoba oil on a qtip, works like a dream. Cleansing oils and eye makeup removers take longer
This is my holy grail liquid liner if I want it to stay in a tropical climate or when I'll be in water. For everyday, I prefer  the L'Oreal Lineur Intense (link here)

Quick note:
If you have oily skin and find pencils and cream/gel liners alway smudging, it's time to go liquid. Liquid eyeliner almost always works better for me, although there are ones that smudge.

Repurchase?
Yes!

Would I recommend it?
Definitely.

REVIEW | Skinfood Sweet Almond Eyeliner

Ingredients
As you can see, NOT paraben-free

Please excuse my... I don't know what those are under my eyes. This is so close up it's scary

After 12 hours, it actually has good staying power if you use enough product, it becomes like a film strip on your eye and comes apart like how it looks on the cotton bud

Pros
Almond oil (supposedly good for your lashes or skin)
Firm brush applicator

Cons
Flaky
Not super pigmented

Price
As of Jan 2015
On Ebay it's $6.57 at the cheapest for 6 ml

Verdict
As with most liquid liners you have to shake it before use (I forgot the first time I used it, and it came out kind of watery). I like the brush applicator, it's firm enough to control but not so hard it scratches your lids. However, this eyeliner is not very pigmented and it flakes in my eye after a few hours in (I kind of felt it flaking in my eye through out the day, I thought my eyes were just getting dry but it was actually this)
For the sake of not wasting it (also because I can't return it) I will use this up, but only if I'm going to be out for a few hours. The way this removes reminds me of the Maybelline Eye Studio eyeliner (review here) but the Maybelline one lasts longer.

If you're looking for a liquid eyeliner, I recommend looking elsewhere.
My favorite liner that I've tried from the drugstore is probably the Milani Infinite Liquid eyeliner, but I don't use it unless I am out all day because it's SO long lasting that it's a hassle to remove (review here).

Repurchase?
No.

Would I recommend it?
Not in particular

REVIEW | Milani Eye Tech Perfection Liquid Liner

Felt tip applicator
This is supposed to have a "ergonomic" design that contours to the way your hand is so it's easier to apply?

Right off the bat, I have to say this kind of drags my eyelids...
And also if you can tell in the 2nd photo, the line isn't really smooth, it's hard to get continuous color

Pros
Pigmented
Dries quickly

Cons
Drags my eyelids
Not smooth
Kind of smudges

Price
$6 for 0.013 oz / 0.4 ml

Verdict
I am mildly disappointed in this product. I never cared for eyeliner pens in particular because my impression is that the pens dry out quickly. I store my eyeliner pens upside down to hopefully avoid this problem, but I've only tried one other one by Physician's Formula (review here) which has an excellent applicator brush. The Milani drags my eyelids and doesn't apply very smoothly, and although it's pigmented, if you don't go over it multiple times there are uneven "bumps" where you apply the line because the felt tip drags against the skin rather than gliding. This also smudges on my undereye area when I draw a wing.

If you're looking for an eyeliner pen, I'd recommend the Physician's Formula one.

Repurchase?
No. I wish I could return this.

Would I recommend it?
No. I noticed a lot of felt tip liners drags across the lid, I'll stick to brush tips
