Would You Rather: Beauty Edition 2011

Amarixe just posted this tag, and it's a newer version so I thought I'd do it since I love these types of things :)


1. Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lip glosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?
Definitely the latter, I don't have many palettes and am not huge into eyeshadow


2. Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
Never be able to cut it again, I look horrendous (in my imagination) with no hair, or with like a pixie cut


3. Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
Pink looks more natural on me, coral's fun for the summer though.


4. If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
If you asked me this a year ago I'd say makeup, but I think I'm slowly easing out of the makeup craze and more into clothes and accessories now.


5. Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?
... I can't imagine having dark lips or pink or red eyeliner. I honestly can't choose
I thought about purple liner for the lips but anything purple-toned does not look good with my complexion, same goes with brown lips.


6. Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
This question was in the old version, definitely Sephora because I've heard MAC doesn't have very good skincare.


7. Would you rather only use one eyeshadow color or one lip color for the rest of your life?
One eyeshadow for sure, I love my lipcolors


8. Would you rather wear winter clothes in the summer or summer clothes in the winter?
Either way it'd be uncomfortable but summer clothes are more fun.


9. Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
I'm not a fan of both honestly, I only go for pastel colors these days.


10. Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product?
If I can find a substitute I guess giving up my favorite lip product isn't bad, I love my eyeliner.
Come to think of it I don't have a holy grail for either areas, hmm... Any suggestions?


11. Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a pony tail or a messy bun?
Ponytail, it's what I've worn pretty much everyday since the 5th grade or something.


12. Would you rather never being able to paint your nails again or never use lip gloss?
I'd give up painting my nails, it's "bad" for my health anyway.


13. Would you rather shave your eyebrows or have none at all? Or sharpie them in everyday?
Shave the eyebrows isn't too bad as long as they grow in, you can fill them in in the meantime. This question partially made no sense 'cos if you had eyebrows you wouldn't need to sharpie them in everyday.


14. Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
I'd live without nail polish for sure, it's not really a necessity to me.
