Review & Swatches: Rimmel pencil eyeliners

Top to bottom
Soft Kohl Kajal in 061 Jet Black
Special Eyes eyeliner pencil in 161 Black Magic
Soft Kohl Kajal in 067 Silver
Soft Kohl Kajal in 071 Pure white

Swatches:
Left: A couple swipes
Right: One swipe

Pros
- Large color selection
- Good for smudgy looks

Cons
- Not long wearing (smudges easily)
- Inconsistent pigmentation

Verdict
Since there are many long-wearing, water resistant eyeliners these days... These aren't very impressive. For the price, it's not too bad, but if you were looking for a good black pencil eyeliner I'd definitely spend the extra money and get Revlon ColorStay. If you dont' like cream bases for eyeshadow, you can also try these under eyeshadows, although the shadow will probably look more textured on your eyelid.
The white one is great for the inner corner of the eye, or on the waterline (although it doesn't last, but I've yet to find a white eyeliner that does last). From the looks of the silver one, I'd steer clear of the "shimmery" ones from this line because the consistency seems kind of clumpy.

Overall: C+
Okay for the price, but I don't reach for these. The only reason I even have them is I got Jet Black free with a Rimmel mascara and bought the other 3 when I first found out about eyeliner (which is before I knew about Makeupalley for reviews).

Value
$3-4 for 0.04 oz / 1.2 g (standard eyeliner weight)

Repurchase?
Only the white one and colorful liners.
