Verdict
Unfortunately, this foundation doesn't look great on my porous, acne scarred skin. The coverage is good but I like my skin to look smoother. If you don't have many noticeable pores this foundation could be amazing for you. I don't think this is especially hydrating for a "semi matte" foundation but it's not drying, which is good. The texture is thicker than typical liquid foundation, which Maybelline describes as "gel whipped."
The first 2 ingredients are water and dimethicone. My skin doesn't work the best with silicone products, but since this one is technically water based it wore ok during the day. The MUFE Mat Velvet+ is still my favorite for a long wearing, medium to full coverage foundation (review here). If you're looking for a good drugstore foundation, I think the Revlon ColorStay or L'Oreal Infallible Matte is probably better.

Repurchase?
No.

Would I recommend it?
For people who don't have noticeable pores
