REVIEW | Maybelline Color Tattoo Chrome in Beige Luster

On bare lids
(my eyes went thru a sensitive phase where it would always be dry and flaky, finally better now)

Beige Luster with UD Naked 1 Hustle on top after 9 hrs

Pros
Easy to blend (as long as you do it right away)
Shimmer is not too chunky

Cons
Doe foot applicator picks up way too much product
Color appears darker in the tube (potentially misleading)
Creases with no primer

Price
$8 for 0.11 oz / 3.45 ml

Verdict
Unfortunately this isn't as crease proof as the original Color Tattoos, but the color is definitely more shiny/chrome like if you want a wash of reflective shimmer. I originally wanted to try the bronze but wasn't sure bc it looks really dark, but I probably should've gotten the bronze for some color to show on my lid. The formula is very thin and blends easily if you do it right away. Any time after it probably won't budge. It creases on my lids later in the day unfortunately, but when I wipe it with a makeup wipe it doesn't come off that easily? A little contradicting, really.

Repurchase?
A darker color for sure

Would I recommend it?
If you like shimmer shadows!

  1. You saved me 8 bucks(I held off from buying since there isn't a really unique shade I need)...I think covergirls made some similar cream shadow a few years back. I can almost feel the thin texture just looking at the pictures.

    1. Yeah for how fast they dry I'm surprised they crease. Oh well :( the green looked pretty though
