New Jewelry: Jewelmint Summer Mystery Bag

Hello everybody,

Sooo I ordered the Jewelmint Mystery Bag a week ago since I'm not sure when my credits expire (and I always feel like $30 is too much for one piece so I love these types of deals). 

Surprisingly, they sent me 3 pieces this time (the last time I got two pieces, see what I got here)

 This is actually a really neat ring, I don't have anything like it. It is an antique silver tone though so I am not sure what I'll wear it with as of now (let me know if you have any ideas!). I got it in a size 8 (which is what I usually get) but it seems a bit big?

I will most likely wear the Steampunk earrings the most often out of these three pieces. 

You can take off the "gear charms" if you want and I love hoop earrings.

 I remember hollyannaeree talking about the Thunderbird earrings, and they looked nice on her.

To be honest, the plastic on Thunderbird seems kind of cheap in person, although it is a very unique piece and the color will definitely spice up your outfit.

Jewelmint Starlet Set

Earrings are very simple, the backing is a little hard to take off considering how thin the earrings are.

I don't really under stand why Jewelmint do silver-plated products, it's not like Sterling Silver is that expensive o.O Gold plated I understand, but for $30... Hm.

This is one of the cheaper Jewelmint sets I've seen, I feel like you can easily find this at Claire's for like $6, although it's a 3-piece set. I am underwhelmed by the pieces I've purchased lately, bleh.

I am underwhelmed by this purchase, although I do like the fact that it's supposed to be a surprise

I would've like the aqua bomb ring, or something that I would've actually chosen to purchase

I can see myself wearing the brown-jewel ring some time, but the green is a little "bright" for me, esp with the jewel being so big.

I think the necklace is neat, but impractical... What could I actually wear this with? The model on the website was wearing a black top with this tied like a rope, I think I prefer wearing it like this.

A lot of coupon codes, they're all buy one get % off though which is a totally turn off for me -_-

My Hunt for Cute Rings - Kohl's, Charlotte Russe, Forever 21

Kohl's

I absolutely love double finger rings, and I thought this was really nice... Except the price was $19.60. Even though this might be sterling silver as opposed to some cheaper metals at a cheaper price, I just think $20 is too much to pay for a cocktail ring / fashion jewelry.

Who knows? I might go back and buy this if I get a $10 off coupon for Kohl's

I've been slightly obsessed with owl jewelry lately, as you will see in the next few pictures. This was around $10, which isn't as bad... But still not worth it for me.

Charlotte Russe

Another 2 finger ring, I thought this was interesting but my friends said it didn't really look like anything. Plus considering I'm not a huge fan of gold, I didn't get it. Charlotte Russe jewelry for the most part is 2 for $8

Another owl ring, this is pretty and sparkly, but I probably wouldn't wear it that much. I tend to forget wearing jewelry other than necklaces in general.

This is a one finger ring, but I thought it's kind of cool how this almost looks like a 2 finger ring. I can't describe exactly what it is, but it's kind of tooth looking?

I think I might've actually bought this if the line at Forever 21 wasn't like 20 people long (I went there the weekend after July 4th, which apparently is the time for sales)

I thought this was decent looking but probably not purchase worthy for me

If you're planning to make your first purchase from Jewelmint, definitely look on Retail Me Not first because there's always a 50% off coupon for first time buyers.

While the jewelry from Jewelmint is good quality, I'm not so sure it's worth $29.99, so definitely try to get discounts where you can (invite friends through your link, etc.)

I'm actually quite disappointed by the piece because the band of the rose one (which was the one I really liked) is very rough and cheap feeling. For some reason it seems lighter than the other two rings. The bow one is my favorite of the 3 now that I have it.

For what it's worth, Jewelmint does put up a good presentation with their packaging, the pale mint green (sometimes black) boxes and the velvet pouches.
