I swatched some open & used Colour Riche Balms in the store, and boy am I glad I did... These are so incredibly sheer, I'd much rather get the Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butters if they're ever in stock.

I did get a few things though :) can't wait to try them out some more and write a review!

New Drugstore Products: Maybelline, CoverGirl, Revlon

Target - Maybelline

I had to keep telling myself to get what I actually would use, which are the 24 hr cream shadows and the 24 hr lipsticks. Maybe I'll try the concealer and foundation some time? Hmmm...

Very disappointed in the Flipsticks, the color combinations are terrible...

They also repackaged their LashBlast mascaras and came out with a 24hr one, I think they're all pretty much the same... The cream shadows aren't anything new, but I've yet to try them after seeing bad reviews on makeupalley

CVS - Revlon

Excuse the slightly blurry pic, I'm excited for the foundations, eyeshadow and liner... Sales here we come?

CoverGirl NatureLuxe Mousse mascara

I tend to like CoverGirl mascaras, I wonder if the naturalness of it will ruin it

Revlon Grow Luscious Plumping mascara

The display was almost out of stock at my Target, I wonder if it's very good

New NYX stuff at Ulta

HD eyeshadow base $6.99

"Mood" lip gloss $4.49

Idk if the lip glosses are that new, but the eyeshadow base is definitely new. If I didn't have the UDPP I would've been totally up for trying this for $7

Eyelash growth serum

Forgot the price, but I feel like every other brand is coming out with an eyelash serum these days

Studio liquid liners

Liquid Crystal liner $4.49

Soft Matte lip cream $5.99

I would've been interested in these if they came in a pencil like the Tarte ones, one of these days I'll try the Tarte one, but $24 is a lot to shell out for a lip product

More Revlon displays

Hi everyone,

These might actually be a bit older than the one I posted, but I never saw this in my store before

Revlon Photoready cream foundation - apparently it's very sheer, I recently watched this video about HD makeup on YT and gossmakeupartist said that HD is basically "sheer coverage" b/c the camera picks it up better, I guess none of the people who have bad skin (myself included) would get away with HD foundations, bleh.

Revlon Photoready concealer (looks like the ColorStay lipsticks)

Revlon CustomEyes mascara - adjustable brush, seems like the Almay Dial-Up mascara?

Revlon CustomEyes shadow & liner - looks interesting, colors don't intrigue me that much though

Revlon Luxurious Color smoky crayon - the original Luxurious eye pencils were very smudge, I assume these would be as well

As much as I love Revlon, the new things they've come out with aren't that interesting to me, but maybe one of them will be worth raving about

Maybelline Fit Me

I saw this at Target, haven't seen this much anywhere else yet, but

It's only $6.99, but to be honest I'm not that intrigued by this line, the foundation and powder seems just kind of... Ordinary. Maybe if someone raves about this on MUA or Youtube I'll consider it

Has anyone else tried this line already? What did you think of it?

New Milani eyeshadow display

I haven't tried much Milani products, but if I ever go on an eyeshadow kick (once I figure out a way to make it look good with my eyeshape), I am definitely trying some

New Rimmel products

Hi everyone,

I think Rimmel is probably one of the more affordable drugstore brands w/o a sale, and their Lasting Finish foundations is one of the best on the market.

Rimmel Match Perfection foundation with SPF 15

As of now, the Rimmel Lasting Finish foundation in 100 Ivory (lightest shade) is too orange for me, so maybe this one will be better? Hmm.

Rimmel Day 2 Night mascara

Volume and length, nothing new here, Rimmel mascaras don't hold curls for me so -_-

They actually came out with a Lash Accelerator mascara too, but it didn't have a display (it's a bit older than this one)

New Almay displays

Hi everyone,
First of all... Happy New Year! ('s Eve)
I can't believe it's 2011 already, but then again time flies when you're doing nothing, lol.

Now onto the post

I found out a while ago that Almay is owned by the same parent company that products Revlon, so of course some of the releases are similar to Revlon, just more expensive in my opinion

Almay Wake Up powder foundation

Definitely similar to the Revlon ColorStay Aqua

Almay Smart Shade Smart Balance powder

Looking up close that pattern is just how the powder looks, it's not plastic or anything, just straight up powder in a pattern, still neat

Almay Intense I-color

Basically revamped their packaging to imitate the new L'Oreal eyeshadows, I feel like

Almay One Coat Get Up & Grow

A lot of brands are coming out w/ nourishing mascaras now, I wonder if they actually make a difference

New CoverGirl displays

Hi everyone,

If you follow NouveauCheap you've probably already seen this, but I went to CVS today, and there were a TON of new displays. I'm going to split it into different brands so it's not one long blog post with like 20 pictures :)

CoverGirl Nature Luxe foundation (or tinted moisturizer? I don't remember)

Nature Luxe glossy balm, none of the colors seem intriguing to me unfortunately

CoverGirl Lip Perfection lipstick

Some of the colors actually seem very intriguing, I found that the lipsticks are hard to open though

New Revlon nail polishes

Isn't that pretty? A pale lilac, pale blue/purple, and pale minty green.

I am so getting my hands on this when Revlon goes on sale, if ever

New L'Oreal displays

Hi everyone,

Surprisingly I actually spotted this at Walmart, haven't been there in a couple of months, I like Target much better :)

My local one actually revamped the whole store so it looks a lot nicer now, anyway

Magic of Smooth foundation

Infallible Lipsticks (they're shaped like the Revlon ColorStay lipsticks except with the name L'Oreal embossed on the lipstick, packagin is quite intriguing)

They have colored mascara now, it looks like a branch of the Beauty Tubes mascara, but it might just be regular mascara, didn't really look at it

There were also some Maybelline sets, new brushes that I forgot to take a picture of -_- my mom was rushing me since she wanted to go home, lol

Also, I did not know that they changed the Rimmel eyeshadow packaging

They look a lot nicer now

Anyway, I CANNOT wait to order my digital camera, high quality pictures here I come!

My 3.2 mp camera actually isn't that bad now that I've learned how to take clearer pictures, but it's still not super awesome.

Maybelline Falsies Black Drama

Hi everyone,

I was cruising through my Walgreens today when I spotted this

Not sure what it's about, a darker super black version of the Falsies mascara?

On the side is the Wet `n Wild day to night sets.

There were also some Burt's Bees displays, but I didn't take a picture because I had seen it at CVS too.

What do you think? Are you a fan of the Falsies mascara?

I've recently been addicted to chai tea lately, which, if you follow me on Twitter, you may already know about. So today I went to Walgreens to check if they had any, they didn't.

What I did end up spotting though, is...

L'Oreal Feel Naturale makeup (I actually got this a year or so ago at CVS for half the price of their clearance, haven't used it much though, I should start using it as a concealer)

Revlon Mineral makeup, both powder and mousse

Revlon 3D mascara

Revlon makeup brushes - I would be tempted, but I have too many brushes anyway

Revlon Illuminance creme highlighters; heard good things about it, but to me not exactly worth the $7.49

That's about it at that Walgreens, each Walgreens varies so your store probably has different ones on clearance.

Anyhow, like usual, Walgreens clearances aren't impressive in price, it's almost 50% off but not quite. If you really had something you wanted it's a good deal, but if you're just in the market for something new... I'd probably go to CVS for clearance sales.

I wonder if CVS has started their clearance sales already? Gotta check that out

Revlon Suede Rhapsody + E.L.F. at Walgreens?!

Hi everyone,

I went to Walgreens today to see what they might have, and...

I've already seen the matte suede nail polishes around, but the lip colors intrigued me, there's this color called "Sky Pink" that looks like a Barbie Pink, may need to look into that :)

Also, I've never seen that multi-purpose cream product (the one in the corner), think it's another gimmick?

In addition, I saw that Walgreens had

The E.L.F. Beauty Encyclopedia, Smokey Edition. It's not the same Smokey Eyes from Target, it's much more colorful. I didn't get it though, idk if I'm that interested in the colors.

Anyhow, that's all I spotted for today,

New L'Oreal HiP duo & Chrome liner colors (at Walgreens)

Apparently it's their vamp(ire) line or something? The colors were interesting, nothing too intriguing

Excuse the blurry pictures, this was taken with my phone; I gotta start taking my camera to places but... It runs out of battery very quickly (it's my mom's, had it for at least 6 years)

And new Chrome liner colors, if you enlarge it you can actually see the colors, Dark Romance (plum), Dark Sky (black, no shimmer as far as I can tell, unlike their Black Shock in the original line), and Dark Night (brown)

Interested in this line?

I'm not really, but it was something new that I spotted.
