Unnecessary Haulage -_-

Disclaimer: Prices listed below are retail, I purchased all these with a discount

Viva La Juicy La Fleur eau de toilette ($95)
On the fence about keeping this because even with my discount it's a little expensive
The roller ball comes with Viva La Juicy (original) and La Fleur. I usually don't like floral scents but this one's nice

Origins Zero Oil
- Deep pore cleanser ($20)
- Pore purifying toner ($20)
- Oil free moisture lotion ($26.50)
- Super spot remover ($14.50 - review here)

Naked 2 Palette ($50)
I finally cracked and bought it for myself after buying it twice for other people. I don't know if I'll actually use it since I'm the type to not use expensive makeup unless it's a special occasion... But with the discount I got I am happy to finally own it :)

Origins Sensory Therapy
Gift with purchase, not sure how much it costs but it's supposed to help with headaches if you apply it to your temples

Origins Let It Go set ($32.50)
Origins Vitazing SPF 15 (1 oz size - review here)
Origins GinZing Brightening mascara (sample size)
Tried this in the store and loved how it holds a curl, review soon!
GinZing eye cream ($30)
As you can tell I am kind of getting into Origins, their prices are actually reasonable and it's all natural, hehe.

Betsy Johnson earrings ($30)
Got these on sale for like $8, score! I think the monkeys are so adorable

MAC Sheen Supreme lipstick in Gotta Dash! ($16)
Been wanting this since it came out last year, it's a lovely apricot that isn't too bright on me
MAC eyeshadow in Copperplate ($15)
Xteeener used this wayyy back in the day for her brows, I can't justify shelling out $22 for an Anastasia brow powder so I'll have to settle with Copperplate, which will hopefully last longer

Shiseido sample sizes
Got it as a gift with purchase since my mom uses their eye cream, these sizes are so adorable
White Lucent Brightening Moisturizing Emulsion
Own this, not holy grail but I def like it, I keep wanting to try out this line but Shiseido is SO expensive!
White Lucent Brightening Cleansing Foam
White Lucent Balancing Softener

Kenneth Cole watch ($115)
I thought this was so cool looking with the see-through face. There is no second-hand on this watch, which I think is pretty cool (no loud ticking!)
Macy's is having a 25% off on almost everything in the store so I encourage everyone to get their name-brand handbags and watches there! Sale through December 3rd. I wanted to get a Michael Kors watch but all their stuff is a little too blingy for me

Have you been spending a lot of money for the holidays as well? I feel like I didn't even buy a lot of presents for other people yet -_- and I'm already broke. AHH

My Everyday Makeup Routine

In order of application:
1. Shiseido Extra Smooth Sun Protection Cream SPF 36
(old version, the new one is SPF 38. This actually leaves a nice matte finish for makeup, I highly recommend this! It keeps the oil at bay just like xteeener said, if you don't know who that is... You must check her out! She's the most genuine, honest makeup guru on Youtube)

2. Shiseido eyelash curler
(fits my left eye perfectly, a little hard to maneuver on my right eye but I'll deal)

3. E.L.F. eyebrow kit in Medium or Wet n Wild eye / brow liner in Charcoal
(Gray colors are best if you have thick black hair, like me, but I've been using the E.L.F. one for the sake of using it up. The powder looks very red-toned on my brows so I prefer the wax)

4. Almay Clear Complexion concealer in Light
(not the best concealer I've used, but at least it's supposed to be good with pimples)

5. Revlon ColorStay eyeliner in Blackberry, see review and swatches here
(as I said in my review, this isn't pigmented, but it looks very natural and flattering on my brown eyes as an every day liner. I wing it out just the slightest, and it makes my lashes look perkier)

I don't apply lip products in the morning because I am going to eat breakfast, so it's pointless. Then I forget during the day, because I just forget.
These are the two lip products I have in my school bag just in case I do remember to put some lip product on:
L'Oreal HiP Shine Struck Liquid Lipcolor in Euphoric (see review and swatches here)
Maybelline Color Sensational lipstick in Pink Please (see review & swatches here)

One thing I have been wearing consistently though...
My Ed Hardy perfume. I've been wearing this whenever I go out. It might not look like I've used a lot but I spray it twice, once on my wrist (then stamp the other wrist) and once on the front of my neck, I lift my chin so it gets to the pulse points.
This is a lovely fruity floral scent, fruity at first, then floral as the day goes on. Definitely give this a sniff the next time you're at Ulta or any department store that carries this.

My Ulta Online Order

purminerals 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Makeup SPF 15 in Light (in both products)
Ulta had a Buy one Get one sale. After seeing MichellePhan's video about it a while back, I've always wanted to try it but didn't because of the price. I'll let you know what I think about it in a review soon.
I was actually searching for some product to go with this for free shipping before I found the Ed Hardy perfume on sale for half price.

Ulta had it on sale for $37.50, half the price of retail.

Most of you probably didn't follow my blog back then, but in November 2010 I actually bought the holiday set of this perfume, to see the blogpost click here. I have to say this is one of my favorite perfumes, not because it smells amazing or anything like that, but it is one of the few I can stand without getting a headache.
I've been into fragrance lately and purchased maybe 6, and this is my go-to whenever I don't know what to wear. It starts off fruity with a slight floral tinge and becomes more floral as the day goes on. I'm starting to wonder maybe they don't fill these perfumes all the way up though, because this is brand new. I actually still have a nearly full bottle of this, so this is kind of backup.

Some people might find the bottle tacky esp when they're not into tattoos. I'm not crazy about it, but at least the parfum smells good.

Britney Spears Circus Fantasy eau de parfum

1 oz / 30 ml

In comparison to the 3.4 oz / 100 ml of the Britney Spears original Fantasy

Fragrance smells different to and on everyone.
I personally find that the original Fantasy is incredibly sweet, so sweet that I can't stand it on myself.
I think I've sniffed it on other people, but that's only for a couple seconds, maybe minutes if I'm next to them for a while.
However, if I had to smell this all day... I would get a headache because it is kind of heavy.

Circus Fantasy,
on the other hand,
smells very similar to Fantasy but much lighter and has a slight fruity note to it.
Its official notes are: red sweetheart orchid, creamy musks, violet candy, florals, apricot blossom, sugar-coated raspberry, blue peony, vanilla wood, creamy musks, luscious fruits, waterlily.

From experience with ordering fragrance online, I find that even if you think you'd like the notes... Just smell it in person first. Because you might be sorely disappointed like I was.

I got Circus Fantasy for $9.99 at TJ Maxx, which I thought was a great deal since a rollerball (0.33 oz) at CVS costs $12.

Would I recommend it?
Yes. But like I said... Check it out in person first, I recommend Kohl's or Ulta for sampling fragrance.

Discounted Perfume?

Hi everyone,
I recently had a perfume kick due to a coworker who always smelled good, and I looked into perfumes I might like.

I have to say, after this haul, I should never order fragrance online, because the description is never what you actually get in the bottle. Just because you like some of the notes doesn't mean you'll actually like the perfume :(

I purchased this from fragrancex.com
I heard about fragrancenet.com at first from Pinkiecharm on YT, but then I saw ads for FragranceX and compared prices, FragranceX is nearly always a dollar cheaper or so, making the perfumes more discounted.

They have tester perfumes which are authentic but cheaper because they sometimes come without the nice box or cap.

Britney Spears Fantasy tester ($26.95 for 3.3 oz)
I can't believe I didn't test this out before I bought it, it's wayyyy to sweet for me, and kind of musky (or heavy should I say?)

Elizabeth Arden 5th Avenue eau de parfum tester ($18.99 for 4.2 oz)
I also should've tested this before ordering, I tested after ordering at Ulta, and it's very floral, which is not my cup of tea. It's not bad... But not something I want to smell all day

Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy ($33.85 for 3.3 oz)
My favorite of the 3, which isn't exactly saying much. It reminds me very much of a cheapie body spray I got from Walmart many years back.

If you've tried this and you like it... Midnight Fantasy is a slightly better version of it. Nonetheless, it was definitely not worth the money. Even at a discounted price :(

That's my perfume kick for now, I am going to return all 3 of them if I can, because this was a serious waste of money -_- if I had tested them before ordering, I would've saved however much this costs to ship back.

Till next time :)

Perfume... My Wallet Hurts

Hi everyone,
Recently, there was an employee event that had 40% off cosmetics and fragrances,
Of course I had to snatch up some things... But I ended up getting them for other people, lol

Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy gift set ($95)
Includes:
3.4 oz eau de parfum
0.5 oz perfume gel
4.2 oz body lotion

For my friend's birthday, she doesn't read my blog so I don't think she'll know
Juicy Couture is so expensive! Jeez. The regular perfume was $87 so I figured I might as well get the giftset

Ed Hardy Women perfume gift set, $75
Includes:
3 oz Shimmering body lotion
0.25 oz mini purse spray
3.4 oz eau de parfum
Luggage tag
3 oz Shower gel

This one I might actually keep for myself, hmm.

It came with a gift with purchase, a very large tote bag
Haven't decided whether I should keep this or give it to someone so I'm keeping it in the packaging for now

Victoria's Secret Shine Pink eau de parfum, 1.7 oz
Says it's supposed to be peaches and tiare flower, whatever that is... Smells fruity :)
VS actually had 50% off all their Pink fragrances, so this came out to be $14.25 instead of $29.50
I think they gave out those dogs for any purchase, and if you bought $10+ before November 30, you got a Secret Rewards card worth at least $10

Forget the scent for a moment, is the packaging not the most adorable thing you've ever seen?!
Even if the fragrance sucked, I might have still gotten it 'cos I love the packaging...

I also got the DKNY Be Delicious original perfume (3.4 oz, full size) from Costco for only $45.99, THAT'S CRAZY FOR A 3.4 OZ! if you know someone who has a Costco card definitely go check it out! That's a great deal for perfume, it was just a $2 difference from my 40% off discount.
I took it back after I tested it in a department store though, doesn't really work with my body chemistry... And doesn't really smell like apples :(

The MAC Tartan holiday brush set, my first MAC purchase ever... Too bad this is going to someone else, lol

It has the SE or LE or something 187 along with other brushes

That's pretty much it. Like I said, my wallet hurts, even with the discount...
I do like the VS perfume, and still debating about the Ed Hardy one, it smells nice and the bottle I like.

Till next time :)
