I love French tips because it's less obvious when your nails grow out.

With a good top coat (I use the Sally Hansen one) this can last me a week, sometimes I paint over the chips so it lasts me 2 weeks.

The Parfumerie line itself is actually pretty good, the scent is there (if you don't use a top coat) and it doesn't chip too quickly like some nail polishes I've tried in the past. I recommend trying this line if you see a color you like.

Not impressed. 

I think the pattern is cute but it barely stays on your nails for 2 days without chipping. I did go over this with a top coat right after but it just seems like a nail sticker that could potentially come off. On my left pinky the entire nail actually came off in the shower because it got caught in my hair. I say these are cool but don't expect them to be long wearing for "10 days" like they claim. I purchased these on clearance at Walgreens for like $3 so it's not too bad. A Youtuber named LePooke has videos on how to apply nail stickers (the brand Incoco in her case, which may be better? I don't even know if that brand is around anymore)

There is a nail polish scent to these in case you were wondering.

Repurchase?

No.

 I actually peeled these off yesterday (it took some effort but some of the nails came off pretty clean)

Would I recommend it?

Different companies that sell products in this color have labeled it as aqua, or just green, lmk if you've seen other names xD (greatly appreciated to aid my search for more mint green items, not that I need anymore of course)

I've always liked mint green, but this spring it seems to have become the IT color and everyone and their grandma is making products in this color. Accessories, clothing, you name it.

Glitter is extremely difficult to remove, tried it once unsuccessfully and haven't attempted since. As you can tell the base polishes are very sheer. I still need to work with the glitter more to make it look like a pretty gradation

Swatches: Sinful Colors Mint Apple & Unicorn nail polish

One coat

Mint Apple is a medium green with a slight silver sheen. You need 2-3 coats for an opaque color, and the lasting power isn't the best

Unicorn is a cream pastel yellow, but it is kind of streaky and sheer, very different from Mint Apple.

The brush isn't too bad, not the best I've tried though. 

Sorry this isn't a full on review, there's not really a full list of pros and cons I can list out for nail polish, unless it's really terrible or amazing.

To me, it's about the same color as Revlon Nude Attitude but with shimmer

After trying to remove it, I find that the glitter/shimmer in this color was hard to get off

Are they really scented?

Yes.

I actually caught a sniff of the Mad About Mango as I was painting my nails. It smells exactly like the Stride gum in a yellow orange packaging (I tried looking it up on the Stride website but it wasn't there)

They both smell artificial, but Peach Smoothie doesn't smell like peaches at all, kind of a faint candy smell but not something I would eat. They both kind of remind me of fruity gum. The scent fades after a few days, I was surprised that it still smelled after you put a top coat, wonder how that works.

Now to the quality of the nail polish, they're kind of thin and you need about 3 coats to make it completely opaque, but sometimes 2 coats could do it.

The wear isn't anything amazing, but not bad. It chipped after 4 days.

OPI Black Shatter vs China Glaze Black Mesh Crackle (comparison, first impressions)

Happy 4th of July! Wow now I wish I used red, white and blue as color bases... Maybe next time.

The OPI Shatter formula is a lot thicker, contrary to what I've read. I think there might be the factor that it sat in the mail box in the heat for about a week until I finally found out from the mailman that they delivered it to the wrong address.

China Glaze Crackle has a much smoother, liquidy formula (which I love)

The OPI isn't horrible since it still cracked well, but it had smudges and I expected more. Luckily I didn't pay full price for it.

It's sold out nearly everywhere around me. Ulta is the only official store I know that carries OPI, but I'm sure some salons have it too.

China Glaze was sold out the first time I went to Sally's but they had it the following week.

Sally Hansen came out with a crackle nail polish line too, but I haven't seen it in any drugstores near me, not at Target either and my friend told me it was sold out at Walmart.

Which one would I recommend?

China Glaze Black Mesh, the formula is much easier to work with, surprisingly enough since it's cheaper.

This is the first time I've purchased nail polish at retail price (the China Glaze one anyway) and I have to say it's worth it, considering I can't wait for things to come back in stock for the life of me. At first all the nail polish colors together looked a little tacky on my nails, but with the crackle design it doesn't look half bad to me now.

What the brush looks like

The wear of these nail polishes aren't the best, which is kind of expected out of a $1 nail polish... They dry faster than the E.L.F. ones though, and wear better.

You need 2 coats to have a decently opaque color on your nails, and they have a nice shine on their own.

The sheen / shimmer is very pretty, Wild card has kind of a red-purple duo chrome going on.

Would I recommend these? They're not as good as the Wet n Wild MegaLast nail polishes but this line has more unique colors.

After 5 days with no top coat
Pretty good wear considering it's $3 and I used no top coat

The color is a mauve with a bit of purple in it, and has a cream finish.

As you can probably tell in the picture, the polish itself is pretty glossy.

I absolutely love the brush in this. For such a small bottle, the brush is huge. My nail beds are fairly large, and this covers my thumb nail easily. If you like any of the colors in this line, I highly recommend trying it, because the texture and brush are great.

I would do pros and cons for nail polish... but it'd be a short list.

This color is a bright, light purple. Not quite pastel, because it's not light enough.

Verdict:

The color's a little bright for my taste, but the color was nice in the bottle. The wear is decent, nothing special but not especially horrible.
I read on a blog that Confetti nail polishes are discontinued from CVS because of a law suit with Sally Hansen, but I still see them in stores?

St. Lucia Lilac has more blue and is paler, and Lilac has more purple.

0.5 oz / 15 ml vs 0.35 oz

The E.L.F. one is nearly 1/3 less, not that most people really use up whole bottles of nail polishes all the time.

Verdict:

After trying Lilac and Blue Mist, I can safely say that the E.L.F. $1 nail polishes are very poor quality. They take forever to dry and chips very easily. They're also very sheer. If you want a pale lilac, the ones I've seen in the drugstore mainly are from Sally Hansen and Revlon, although I think you have better luck with Sally Hansen.

I tweeted about this already, but I find that E.L.F. nail polishes take forever to dry and chips easily.
The Essie one stays on well even without a top coat, I guess there is a reason why these cost $7.

Verdict:

Even though the colors look similar in the bottles, a lot of brands make a minty green now. Sally Hansen, Revlon... I would skip out on the E.L.F. one, because you need 4 coats to get the actual color and the staying power isn't so great. In this sense, you get what you pay for.

Hi everyone,

I finally painted my nails after like 3 months of not painting them.

Decided to try the new nail polishes I got, and here are the swatches & kind of a review

 Cloud (nail polish bottle)

I was most excited about Cloud b/c I've rarely seen a pale periwinkle blue, but as you can tell... It kind of clashes with my skintone

In case you were wondering, my hands aren't usually this red, it's just more like this in the winter

Now, Lily I already have a similar color of, but I picked it up anyway b/c CVS was having extra bucks that day

Pros:
- Opaque color
- Dries fast
- Good variety of shades
- Brush easy to paint with
- Nice packaging

Cons:
- Chips fast


Value

Price: $4.99 retail

Verdict:
Now, as you can clearly see, Cloud had chipped after just 2 days of wear, and I used one of my favorite top coats (Sally Hansen Mega Shine). Now on the 3rd day of wear, both Lily and Cloud on my right fingernails have chipped, with the exception of my pinky (which always chips last). Granted, I've done dishes, worked with clothing at work, but... Honestly, the regular Revlon nail enamel line stays on longer than this.

Other than that, the polish itself is quite opaque, if you put on a thick layer 1 coat might cover the entire nail, but I recommend 2 thin layers to avoid chipping too early.

While I love Revlon, and some of the new colors are intriguing, I think I will be taking this back b/c the formula doesn't last long, but also b/c the color doesn't look that great against my skin.

Repurchase?
Definitely not.
