I am really pleasantly surprised by this color. I'm not a red lips girl unless I'm going out, but this seems like such a wearable red! I ordered a color I thought was neutral when Ulta had a 20% off sale a few weeks back and never tried this on my lips until today. 

This is definitely my favorite color that I've purchased in a while. Most of my lipstick purchases recently (even high end ones) are either too bright or too neutral, nothing I'm excited to wear.

The UD comfort matte formula is very good, not drying and doesn't transfer like crazy. Love!

If you have pale skin and are usually afraid to wear reds. I think you'll enjoy this color (:

Kinda got sucked into buying this color because of the girl at the store. She said there were only 8 left. Plus $17 is pretty reasonable for a lipstick

Although I'm sure the Maybelline ColorSenational mattes are just as good

On me it's too mauve for my taste

Idk why I thought the Revlon lipsticks might be similar, they def are different from Backtalk.

As you can tell it has purple glitter with a black/grey base. It doesn't look super dark but dark enough

I got this on clearance for ~$7 at Nordstrom Rack. I'm usually not great at drawing winged liners but this brush was stiff enough to give me control. This looks more purple to me in person, maybe the human retina catches the color of the glitter more.

If you see this on sale I'd definitely give it a try, but I wouldn't spend $19 on it.

Would I recommend it?

Yes, but I think the Milani Infinite liner (review here) is better in terms of wear.

Verdict

This is the Ulta birthday gift deluxe sample this year, I have to say Maybelline's Lash Sensational (review here) is better for my lashes. The first coat of this did nearly nothing, although it does look very clean. I wonder if my lashes have gotten thinner from wearing mascara too much. But the 2nd coat looks a lot better. I don't really like to put on 2nd coats of mascara because it usually smudges more on me, but maybe people who don't have that problem will enjoy this more. For a high end mascara this didn't wow me so I will be sticking to my $6 CoverGirl and Maybelline mascaras I can get at Target.

I like this cleanser a lot for removing face makeup, but it doesn't remove eye makeup as I expected after hearing Youtubers talk about it

Burt's Bees Coconut Foot creme

The texture of this is really interesting, very oily at first and when you message it in it turns into more of a cream. I used it once and haven't used it since because I've been kind of lazy o.O
