I've never really seen this anywhere except Walmart, but when I saw it I thought it was interesting, and something from Olay is probably good.
Wrong.
Pros:
None so far sadly
Cons:
- Very strong fragrance
- Doesn't seem to clean that well
- Strips skin of moisture, kind of, but most gel cleansers I've used do that
- Doesn't lather that well, despite the name
Verdict:
First off, this has a very strong smell, reminds me a little of Dove shampoos and conditioners, which isn't bad, but on my skin in such a strong dose ...
Another thing is I feel like it doesn't clean that well. I get blackheads on my nose easily, but it usually doesn't happen when I'm using a gel cleanser.
I have noticeable blackheads on my nose right now. I've only been using these since last night, and ... It's very disappointing.
Since I kind of stock up on cleansers, there's no way I can take this back b/c I believe I bought this over 6 months ago, so I'll have to use this up or something. Maybe I can use it as a body wash.
Which reminds me, although it says "lathering cleanser", it doesn't really lather that well, I mean, it's not like it makes no foam at all, but it's pretty weak.
This is just a quick take, who knows, I might grow to love this, but ... If you see this somewhere, I don't recommend this thus far.
Repurchase?
No.
Repurchase?
No.
P.S. Here are some pictures of my attempt at trying to compare the Shu Uemura lash curler to the Tweezerman Super Curl.
So yeah. You can't even really tell that my lashes are curled. My lashes don't curl well, so I definitely have to heat it up w/ a blow-dryer then curl a couple of times for my lashes to actually look curled.
Otherwise, it looks like this - flat, seeming to exist lashes.
*Sigh* Asian hair that points straight down isn't that nice when it's your eyelashes.
