Damage...

Hi guys,

So as usual, I couldn't resist the temptation of a good sale.

In my defense (man, I need to stop making excuses for myself) none of the mascaras I've opened lately have worked for me (Rimmel Glam'Eyes, Maybelline Lash Stylist) so I was really tempted by the new Maybelline Lash Stiletto Voluptuous mascara (xteeener used it in one of her videos somewhat recently, so of course that set me off too).

If you watch my Weekly Drugstore Makeup/Beauty Sale videos, you might know that this week, Rite Aid had a 40% off on Maybelline cosmetics (since BOGOF's are so hard to come by these days, 40% off is the closest it'll get). I also had some $1 and $0.50 coupons I stole from Target (they were attached to certain Maybelline products they had on display) as well as the $2 off Maybelline cosmetics Rite Aid coupon that totally enabled me to splurge, although it's not even that much money.

I got the Shine Sensational lip gloss in Freshly Sliced (someone requested a review on this lip gloss a while back, but I was waiting for a good sale), and the Lasting Drama gel liner by EyeStudio in Black, which I wouldn't really get unless I had the coupons, b.c I already have the L'Oreal HiP creme liner, the E.L.F. cream liner, and the Wet `n Wild cream liner to finish.

I think I'm allergic to the EOS lip balms.

3 days after I used it at night, my lip line turned red as the skin on my lips turned scaly and thick. I haven't used it in 2 days and it's still not completely better. At first I thought it was lip acne but after it didn't go away after a day I knew it, it was allergies. 

Gahh. I don't even have sensitive skin yet my lips are reacting to an organic lip balm, how ironic.

Anyhow, I think I'm going to return it after seeing what happens after a week, if I can't return the one I already opened (Summer Fruit) I'll at least be able to return the Honeysuckle Honeydew.

I'm so disappointed, I really wanted to like these :(

By the way, before my lips turned super red, these weren't that moisturizing anyway... They just smell nice & the sphere shape is kind of interesting.
