Does anyone feel like I've been overblogging lately? Lol, anyways, if I didn't get this up now, it wouldn't be up till tomorrow after at least 6 PM PST.
Pros:
- Lasted up to 5 hours w/o creasing
- Less expensive than high-end primers
Cons:
- Very dry texture
- Hard to blend
- Orange-toned color, shows up on lid (won't match every skin tone)
- Didn't help color payoff of eyeshadows
Verdict:
I don't recommend getting this b/c it's hard to blend and doesn't improve the look of your shadow. I'd get the E.L.F. Mineral eyeshadow primer or UDPP/LORAC Behind the Scenes eyeshadow primer
Texture: Very dry, hard to blend ... Seems more like a really dry concealer than eye primer, and I have oily lids. I'm sorry I don't have pictures, my camera has a hard time focusing very well.
Color: An orange-toned flesh color, too orange on me, but with eyeshadow you won't be able to see. I like sheer formulas better.
Function: Because it's so dry it lasted up to 5 hours on me without creasing too much, but after that it was horrible, very obvious crease line. Also, this did not help the pigmentation or staying power, the shadows that are sheer stayed sheer, I had to use a cream base (Revlon Illuminance Creme shadow) to have the color show up, then again ... The E.L.F. Mineral primer is the same.
