I felt like writing something today, so here I am.
I've been looking at digital cameras lately (I've been wanting one since perhaps a year ago, just never got it b/c I haven't managed to find a job nor did I get into my dream school). I was looking at this one:
On Amazon it's ~$145 including shipping, which isn't bad for a standard digital camera, but idk if Samsung is awesome for digital cameras, I just know Canon is a good camera brand.
Anyhow, I'll keep you guys updated whether or not I ended up getting this one. It'll be the 1st time I make a purchase using my own money on Amazon. Before it was just my dad paying for books :P (I got the Twilight Saga a while back from Amazon too, only $44 for all 4 books in hardcover!)
The camera I'm currently using is the Canon PowerShot SD110 3.2 MP
I know right, 3.2 megapixel? Excuse the blurriness, for this camera you have to be at a particular distance for the picture to show up clear, which is one of the reasons I wanted a new one
My mother bought this I believe when I was in 5th or 6th grade, so it's been a loooong time (aka 6-7 years).
It only records in 3 minute segments, which means I absolutely have to edit every one of my videos unless it's under 3 minutes (pretty rare considering my rambling). I'm glad I'm replacing this finally, it's just a matter of time when I'll actually order and receive the new camera -_-
That is it for now. Ahhh my skin looks so bad at the moment, I've been breaking out badly.
You should get the Canon SD780-IS (which is what I've been wanting for a looong time, it's $169.00 on Walmart). It takes amazing quality pictures (for a point-and-shoot camera) and HD videos! For picture-taking (but not video-taking), Nikons are great, which is what I have. But I'm definitely going to switch over to a Canon if my current camera ever breaks. Sony Cybershots are also good for video, I think. :)
ReplyDeleteHaha, I was considering a Canon camera, but then I saw the Samsung Dual View and I was like, I really want it 'cos I can actually see what I'm doing lol. I already ordered it from Amazon so I can't change it =/ but thanks for the suggestion! If this camera doesn't work out and I have to return it, I'll look at the Canon one you suggested :)
