Hi everyone,
For some reason, I kind of went crazy on Monday and bought a bunch of stuff I did not plan at all.
Once again excuse the picture quality, I will not be getting a new camera till at least the end of January, I'm planning on a light box though... What do you think?
1. Revlon Top Speed nail polish - Lily (pale lavender), Cloud (pale periwinkle blue) - these have horrible reviews on MUA, but I think most ppl were reviewing an older version, these have been rereleased?
They were also on the Extra bucks program for only $1.99 each after extra bucks, of course I had to try the colors I wanted.

2. Garnier Moisture Rescue Lightweight UV Lotion with SPF 15 - on sale for $5, I couldn't resist since it was kind of new, lol
3. Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick in Twinkled Pink (frosty light pink, slightly darker than Silver City Pink) - also on extra bucks, $2.49 I believe after EB.
I also finally got a vanity mirror, it was $19.99 at CVS, decent size. Most of the Conair ones are at least $22 I think, the one I saw at Target was and it was smaller and looked cheaper, go figure.
What I love most about this is that to turn on the light you just touch the base of the mirror. Pretty convenient, rather than clicking or pressing a button.
I guess you can call this my vanity, not really though 'cos there's just stuff all over the place, lol.
On this end table I put everything I'm going to talk about in hauls and whatnot
I got some sample sizes in Target's travel/sample size section. The skin around the side of my nose is super flaky, it get oily but right after I wash my face it looks horrible. Exfoliating seem to only work a little bit, so I thought I'd try a cream. I read online that it might be a skin condition that require a 1% hydrocortisone cream, which Aveeno makes. We'll see
5. Jergens Intense Healing Therapy - one of the creams with less ingredients
6. Johnson's Baby Shampoo - ppl say they use it for brushes, I wanted to see if it actually works well.
7. Suave Naturals Juicy Green Apple shampoo - I absolutely love apple scented anything (unless it's too artificial, sweet, etc.), and this one smells great. It's only like $1.89 for a 22.5 oz too which is far cheaper than Pantene or even Herbal Essence.
8. Suave Professional Rosemary Mint shampoo - I also love mint, and I saw the Aveda one (which was like, what $18 for an 8 oz?), out of my price range. This however, was only $1.59? Something like that, for 14.5 oz. It says it's somewhat of a dupe on the packaging, we shall see how "cheap" shampoos work on my hair.
7. Boots Expert Scar Care Serum - I scar easily especially with cystic acne, I read good reviews on MUA (only 3 ppl, but still) and decided to give it a try. For $7.99, it's not as bad as Mederma, which costs like $30, if it doesn't work.
8. Clif bar in Blueberry Crisp, Cool Mint Chocolate - totally not beauty related, but I've been interested in nutrition bars b/c I LOVE snacking and I feel like it'd be great if it's something that's actually good for me. They look kind of gross but taste alright.
9. Luna bar in White Chocolate Macadamia - this tastes great for a nutrition bar, expensive though (even in bulk, it's like $5.59 for 6)
More food! Yay!
10. Pirouette wafer rolls in Chocolate Hazelnut - if any of you watch missglamorazzi, you might've heard that she LOVE chocolate with hazelnut. My aunt actually gave us this as a present a few years back, I still have the can to prove it. It tastes pretty good. They actually had a mint chocolate one, but idk if I'd like that in a wafer.
11. Archer Farms granola cereal in - Cashew Apricot, French Vanilla Almond Crunch, Chocolate Chunk Hazelnut Biscotti, Blueberry Granola w/ Flax - I recently had a sample of just plain loose granola at Costco, and it actually tastes pretty good. This is somewhat healthier than a lot of cereals on the market, so I decided to get some sample bags and see which one I liked the most :) if you like granola bars, I think you almost definitely would like these. They had other flavors too but these were the ones that intrigued me.
12. M&M's with coconut - sounds interesting, peanut M&M's are still by far my favorite.

I'm very interested in Garnier Moisture Rescue (but the gel version) but I'm afraid it won't be moisturizing enough for my super dry skin z=
ReplyDeleteHmmm the Suave Green Apple shampoo must smell yummy!
I was kind of interested in that too, but I recently bought the Merlot night cream `n would probably not use the Garnier one as much. I'd go for Cetaphil if you have dry skin, no mineral oil which might cause breakouts ^^
ReplyDeleteHaha I love it! Apple is one of my favorite scents, when done right of course
