Chanel Rouge Allure Laque in 75 Fidelite

I saw a blogger swatch this and it looked like a beautiful glossy hazelnut that apparently sets. Unfortunately for me, 2 layers of this doesn't look layer at all... I was really excited but I do not want to put like 5-6 layers of a lip product to give it some shine, when I can do that easily with a lip gloss.
For some reason, I have never been super taken with a Chanel lip product - I've purchased a lot over the years but they're always just ok color wise.

Price: $45 for 0.18 / 5.5 ml

LIP TINT | Etude House Balm Color Tint

Love is Sweet
Balm | Balm and Tint | Tint
My friend gave me this bc it is too bright for her taste
I'm not a red lip girl, but this is actually pretty cute if you use the red part sparingly. Compared to the VDL tint (review here) I have, the red part is a lot more pigmented but also takes up a much smaller space on the lip crayon. Also, the fact is has a tip in the beginning makes it harder to get the red tint evenly.
It is decently moisturizing and easy to blend out so the red doesn't look too unnatural with a harsh line in the middle.

$8+ depending on where you get it
I think Ebay is generally cheaper but Amazon has really good prices these days too
I happen to have a sports bra that matches the lip tint. (Bought this maybe 4+ years ago :P)

LIPS | "Prettiest Lipstick" Flower Lipstick (Kailijumei)

Pros
Beautiful bullet
Tints your lips even if you wipe it off
Moisturizing

Neutral
Clicky packaging is fun
Light, artificial fragrance
Colors seem to change depending on your body heat
Stains your lips

Cons
Colors all look the same

Verdict
I had to try get this after seeing Tina Yong's review, even though I do not need anymore coral lip products. I'm not particularly impressed by this product, but given how cheap it is I think it's worth having.

Repurchase?
No.

Would I recommend it?
If you're into pretty looking makeup

LIPS | Peripera Tint Milk in Milky Peach

Blended | Applied

Wiped with a tissue

I've decided to not do Pros and Cons unless there's a lot of info to avoid redundancy

Price
$8+ for 8 ml
Link to Amazon here

Verdict
Sadly this is not that long lasting, but it is a cute peach turn pink tint if you're into that kind of lip color. The smell is a bit artificially fruity. I will still use it from time to time when I am not feeling the look of lipstick applied. I expected it to be a pale peach but it turned more into a pink, as you can kind of see on my hand.

Repurchase?
No.

Would I recommend it?
Yes.

Shu Uemura Tint in Gelato in Momo Sweet

The applicator looks pretty neat

Please excuse my lips, I've been exfoliating them and using different lip balms but it seems to just be dry all the time. Now I rarely wear lipstick

Pros
Cute color
Multi purpose

Cons
Expensive
Settles in lip lines
Clings on to dry spots
Can only be purchased online

Price
$28 for 0.19 oz / 5.4 g

Verdict
I haven't really tried makeup from Shu, so I thought I'd give this a try with their 20% off sale previously. Unfortunately this lip product is way too high maintenance for me, I have to prep my lips very well to feel comfortable wearing this. Although this is multipurpose I will probably never use it as a cheek tint bc I have too many other blushes.

Repurchase?
No.

Would I recommend it?
Ehhh. I'm still not sure Raeview featured this, unless she was paid for it

LIPSTICK | CoverGirl Outlast Longwear + Moisture lipstick

In Fireball
Not sure why it looks more pink in the photos, in real life they look quite orange to me
After eating and drinking

Pros
Long wearing
Not drying
Pigmented

Cons
Pain to remove
Smells like plastic
Limited color selection

Price
$7+ for 0.12 oz / 3.4 g

Verdict
If you watch emilynoel83 or xteeener, you'll see they mentioned it in their recent favorites.
I was pleasantly surprised by the lasting power of this, since lipsticks usually fade from your inner lip as you eat and drink. However, due to their long wearing capabilities - I have to go over my lips 3 times to remove the lipstick completely, with jojoba oil or a makeup remover. I am not a fan of hard to remove makeup, so I haven't really been using it. If you find a color you like this is definitely worth a try.

Repurchase?
Maybe.

Would I recommend it?
Yes.

LIPS | Dior Lip Glow in 004 Coral

Bare lips
Initial application
5 mins after

An hour after - it looks more coral here

Initial application | 5 mins later

Sephora description
What it is:
A sheer balm that enhances your natural lip color while moisturizing and protecting lips.

What it does:
Awaken and enhance the natural beauty of your lips with this unique balm. Formulated with color reviver technology, this silky lipstick reacts with the chemistry of your lips to create a special shade that will last all day. The addition of SPF 10 will keep you protected, while hydrating mango butter and loofah extract nourish for beautiful, luscious lips.
Pros
Glides on smoothly
SPF 10
Pretty packaging
Leaves a natural tint after the balm wear off

Cons
Looks bad on dry lips
"Coral" = pink
Expensive

Price
$33 for 0.12 oz / 3.5 g

Verdict
I'll admit this has pretty packaging is would be good for people who want just a natural tint on their lips. However, for a lot less money there's a lot of lip balms that would do the same thing, like the Tony Moly lip tint (review here), which is more moisturizing, smells fruity and is a lot cheaper.
I will use it up bc I got it for $25 USD at the Canadian duty free store, but I don't think it's worth $33 other than for vanity.

Repurchase?
No.

Would I recommend it?
If you're a sucker for pretty packaging.

REVIEW (Korean Beauty) | VDL Triple Shot Tint Bar in Triple Burgundy (Ombre Lips)

"How would you like your tint today?"
"Tint, base, and balm in one stick for voluminous gradient lips, please!"

Blended in a little more

Product photo

After eating - I'm kind of impressed, it darker color actually stains your lips

Pros
Fruity scent
Gradient effect
Buildable color
Not drying

Cons
Sheerer than the photo portrays

Price
$13+ for 0.12 oz / 3.5 g

Verdict
Rating: B
This was on a list of best selling Korean products my cousin from China sent me, and I've always liked the gradient look in Korean dramas.
This lip tint smells lightly fragrant of berries, and the gradient look works, but it is a lot sheerer than it looks in the photo. I recommend it if you want that gradient look in the form of novelty in this product, but I'm sure you can create it with a dark tint or lipstick you like.
I saw instructions somewhere you could also apply this vertically so that it becomes a milky color, as shown in the photo.

Repurchase?
Maybe the peach trio.

Would I recommend it?
Yes! But keep in mind the color isn't as pigmented as it looks

SWATCH | Lancome Lip Lover in 334 Corail

1 coat

2 coats

Pros
Moisturizing
Fragrance free (could be a con)
Buildable color
Not too shiny

Cons
Sheer color (could be pro)

Price
$23.50 for 0.14 oz

Verdict
Now that I'm in my 20s, I don't really wear lip gloss if at all. The Lip Lover is nice, but not amazing since I seem enjoy lip products that smell good. If you want a sheer lip gloss that's nice and moisturizing, this is a great product.

Repurchase?
Probably not.

Would I recommend it?
Yes, but it's not a must have

REVIEW | Tony Moly Aqua Petit Jelly CC Tintbar in 02

Pros
Moisturizing
Fruity scent
Twist up

Cons
Very light tint
Not true to "color"

Price
$10 at Urban Outfitters

Verdict
I had hoped this would be similar to the Dior Addict Lip Glow in Coral, but maybe a lot of the color changing lip balms are like this. It's nice as a lip balm, but nothing special as a color changing one, it looks more pink than coral on my lips as you can see, but it looks nice as a natural lip color for everyday that doesn't look like lipstick.

I originally wanted to try the Face Shop one some time, but maybe they all look the same.

Repurchase?
No.

Would I recommend it?
Depends on what you want. It's moisturizing and has a bit of a tint, some people like that slightly glossy natural color. But this is definitely not coral, it's pink.

REVIEW | Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm

In 235 Mischievous

Pros
Pigmented
Not drying
Creamy
Very light minty scent (con for some)
Twist up container

Cons
The pencil tip will eventually flatten
High maintenance

Price
$8 for 0.095 oz / 2.7 g

Verdict
I've been digging the pale orange lip because a really popular Chinese drama called Empress Wu has most of the actresses wearing this color. I think 235 Mischievous will work well on pale complexions, not sure about tanned skin. I noticed recently that the matte balm is a bit high maintenance, if I forget to exfoliate my lips it really exaggerates the dryness, which I guess is expected of a matte lip, so be careful wearing this on days you're feeling lazy like me.
I have the original Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain (review here) which is more sheer and glossy. I would definitely try more colors from this line or the balm stains in general (they have Matte Balms like this, Balm Stains and Lacquer balms that are supposed to be very glossy) if I find unique colors that suit me.

Repurchase?
Considering the volume of new makeup products coming out each season I doubt it, but I really like these "balm stains," the Revlon ones especially because it smells minty.

Would I recommend it?
Yes.

REVIEW | Tony Moly Delight Lip Tint in 01 Cherry Pink

1 coat

Applied with the doe foot applicator
Kind of hard to get an even application

2 coats

If you apply it in the inner rim of your lips and blend it out this is what it looks like
I like the gradient look but I think it's easier to do with a lipstick

Pros
Not drying
Grape scented (con for some)

Cons
Hard to get an even layer
Not long lasting
Limited color selection

Price
$6
This is sold at Urban Outfitters, whaaat. I may have paid more for it in China

Verdict
This product is kind of hard to work with, and it doesn't even really last long (if you drink anything or eat anything that has oil or moisture, this will rub off some). You either have to sheer it out a lot or apply a lot to get the full color. I wish they came with instructions
Definitely exfoliate your lips and moisturize the night before for it to look remotely even.
I've tried dabbing it with my finger, but it becomes very sheer, ends up not looking like much (I think a lot of it gets on your finger instead of your lips), which defeats the purpose of even applying a lip tint in my opinion.

Repurchase?
No.
I hope other lip tints aren't like this, if you've tried the Benefit ones or other ones that you actually LIKE please let me know.

 Would I recommend it?
Not in particular, I don't think it applies very evenly

Happy New Years! I just realized I never said that in my previous posts o_O
