Tinted SPF | Missha Time Revolution White Cure SPF50+/PA+++

Per usual, Korean skincare products tend to have a pleasant scent which may irritate those with really sensitive skin.

This tinted SPF is kind of greasy feeling and leaves a dewy finish, which is probably nice if you have dry skin. I have combination skin, and I feel like just powdering it alone doesn't keep down the oily look.

I bought a bunch of Missha products when they had a 40% off sale a while back. Apparently their essence is similar to SK II in some way. I've had people tell me it doesn't do anything, but the other products in their skin care line intrigued me.

I've been using the White Cure serum on my freckles and the Clear Toner as a toner pretty much every day. Not sure if I see a difference yet but here's hoping

This was recommended by my favorite Taiwanese Youtuber (Catie) and the texture is very lightweight and pigmented. I really like this color but it depends on my mood for something this bright

I am pleasantly surprised how well this BB cream covers without looking dry or flaky. When I tried the Laneige (review here) and Hera (review here) previously I always felt like the product sat on my skin and looked slightly dry. The sponge in the Missha one also looks a lot more saturated than the ones I've tried previously. There is a moisturizing formula and a coverage formula (which is the one I got). It seems to settle in dry spots throughout the day (see photo below), so this is good if you're only going to be out for a couple hours.

I've heard Sulwhasoo makes really good ones, but I bought the Missha for the cute Minion packaging

Probably not, I've never actually used up any foundation or BB cream

Would I recommend it?

If you usually like BB cushions you'd probably like this one

Overall: B

Like its name, the BB cream is much more a cream consistency than a liquid (thought I'd throw it out there since people compare BB creams to tinted moisturizers). As you can tell in the picture, it gives some coverage but not a lot, especially with all my post-acne scars. During the day, I haven't noticed any wear problems on my cheeks, where it's drier but still gets a little oily by the end of the day. I am pleasantly surprised that it doesn't look greasy upon application, since my impression from reading and watching several reviews is that it's oily-looking and doesn't last. While it is not the most long lasting face makeup out there, it's really not too bad if you set it with a translucent powder.

As far as the skin lightening and "healing wrinkles and blemishes," I am skeptical that a makeup product could actually do that, but will update if I see any significant changes.

Red alert: 
this contains mineral oil, and I suspect it might've clogged some of my pores, since the day after using this I noticed some little bumps where my pores are the largest.

Side note:

Oddly enough, you can't really twist the cap off, which defeats the purpose of a squeeze tube.

Repurchase?

Probably not, I still prefer my L'egere White Multi BB cream, review here.
